About The Position

Under the direct supervision of a licensed clinician, the Therapy Aide provides direct and/or indirect assistance in patient care delivery and helps maintain a clean and orderly department environment. Employees are expected to be pleasant, respectful, and courteous in interactions with patients, families, staff, and visitors, and to represent the hospital positively. The role is with Providence St. Luke's Rehabilitation Medical Center, whose culture emphasizes patient-focused, whole-person care, understanding, commitment, and mutual respect.

Requirements

• Education sufficient to meet certification, license, or registration requirements.
• National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

• One year of experience working in a patient care environment, such as home care, a nursing home, or a hospital.
