About The Position

University Hospitals Avon Rehabilitation Hospital, jointly operated by Lifepoint Health and University Hospitals, is seeking a Rehabilitation Technician to support patient care in its inpatient rehabilitation setting. The technician follows care tasks determined by an OTR/RPT, helps patients work toward therapy goals, transports patients safely, communicates with the rehabilitation team, and observes patient reactions to treatment while following instructions accurately. The role requires regular lifting and carrying of equipment, supplies, and materials weighing up to 50 pounds, using proper body mechanics.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, CPR certification, effective verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to transport patients and use safe lifting techniques. Six to twelve months of relevant experience in a rehabilitation setting is strongly recommended. The position is PRN.

Responsibilities
