About The Position

The Rehab Aide works under the general supervision of the Site Leader and the direct supervision of Rehabilitation Services’ Therapists and Therapist Assistants. The role supports therapy treatment plans by preparing and cleaning treatment areas, obtaining supplies, transporting and positioning patients or clients, and assisting therapists and therapist assistants. The Rehab Aide may also perform routine clerical tasks in support of patient care. Work is performed in accordance with facility, departmental, regulatory, and payer policies, procedures, and guidelines. The Rehab Aide participates in performance improvement and program development activities, including providing input to budget planning, contributing to cost-effective services, and maintaining positive customer relations.

Requirements

High school graduate.
Strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

Prepare and clean treatment areas.
Obtain supplies.
Transport and position patients or clients.
Assist patients or clients, therapists, and therapist assistants in completing therapy treatment plans.
Perform routine clerical support tasks as assigned in support of the patient care process.
Participate in performance improvement and program development activities.
Provide input into budgetary planning and contribute to cost-effective services.
Maintain positive relations with customers.
Follow facility, departmental, regulatory, and payer policies, procedures, and guidelines.
