About The Position
This posting is for a Regular Part-Time Professor position to teach Interpretation Theory (TRA6907, Section A) during the Winter 2027 semester at the Main Campus. The course will be offered online. Requirements
- Solid grounding in theories and practices of interpreting and related fields (e.g., performance theory).
- Qualifications or publications in the field of interpreting.
- Solid knowledge and experience in teaching interpretation in both official languages.
- An acceptable level of education and/or experience could be viewed as being equivalent to the educational required and/or demonstrated experience.
Nice To Haves
- Professional experience in interpretation.
- Knowledge of the Canadian market.
Responsibilities
- Teach Interpretation Theory (TRA6907, Section A) during the Winter 2027 semester.
- Provide instruction in English and French.
- Complete all mandatory legislated training as required by provincial law.
