The School of Political Studies within the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Ottawa is seeking a Regular Part-Time Professor to teach POL4562: Politique de la santé au Canada during the 2027 Winter Semester. This course will analyze key themes and issues in public health and healthcare systems debates in Canada, including concepts of health and illness, the role of interest groups and patient associations, and government decision-making processes in the health domain. The course is expected to have an enrolment of 40 students and is worth 3 credits. Instruction will be in French, with a requirement for competence in a second language. The course is scheduled to meet on Mondays and Wednesdays from 17:30 to 19:00. While the course is planned to be offered in person, the teaching mode may change due to health reasons or other circumstances.
