About The Position

This position is for a Regular Part-Time Professor to teach Personality (PSY3303, Section B00) during the Winter 2027 semester. The course will cover major theories in personality, including main schools of thought, general characteristics of each theory, leading representatives, and current research. The course is offered in person and will be taught in English.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Psychology
• Advanced knowledge in Theory of Personality as demonstrated by peer-reviewed publications or specific training in the field of personality in the past five years.
• Successful completion of all mandatory legislated training as required by provincial law.
• Ability to maintain the original assigned mode of course delivery (in-person).

Nice To Haves

• Competence in a second language (Passive).

Responsibilities

• Teach Personality (PSY3303, Section B00) during the Winter 2027 semester.
• Maintain the originally assigned mode of course delivery (in-person).
• Inform the School of Psychology Secretariat if a class needs to be cancelled.
• Arrange for a suitable replacement instructor in case of an upcoming absence.
