About The Position

This seminar allows students completing an honours program with specialization in public administration to apprehend the field of public administration in a more integrated and global manner. The main theories and contributions having shaped the development of public administration as a field of study, particularly in Canada, are examined. The course will be offered in person. Teaching method might be modified due to public health measures or other reasons.

Requirements

  • Ph.D. or Ph.D. course work in the field of public administration.
  • Teaching experience in the field.
  • This course is intended for PhD students.
  • Candidates should clearly indicate their qualifications and skills in their CV.
  • Candidates who have never taught a course at the University of Ottawa should submit information describing their previous training or experience with teaching.
  • An acceptable level of education and/or experience could be viewed as being equivalent to the educational required and/or demonstrated experience.

  • A letter of intent that demonstrates knowledge of the topic of this course will be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Teach the Integration Seminar in Public Administration course (PAP4365 Section B00).
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the topic of the course.
  • Provide teaching and training experience.
  • Complete all mandatory legislated training as required by provincial law.
