The School of Political Studies within the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Ottawa is seeking a Regular Part-Time Professor to teach POL4154 - Parliamentary Government in Canada during the 2027 Winter Semester. This course will cover the principles of parliamentary government, its evolution, the roles of Parliament and Members of Parliament, the legislative process, committees, accountability, the organization of the executive, and comparisons with other parliamentary systems. The course is scheduled to be delivered online in a synchronous format with live instruction. The University offers training for online course delivery, and the teaching method may be adjusted due to public health measures or other reasons.
