About The Position
This posting is for a Regular Part-Time Professor position for the course ECO-2547 Section A00, Théorie macroéconomique II, during the 2027 Winter Semester at the University of Ottawa. The course focuses on an analytical examination of the main economic and social data available in Canada and elsewhere, including data sources, measurement, and interpretation of economic indicators such as poverty, GDP, and prices. The position is limited to Regular Part-Time Professors.
Requirements
- PhD degree in Economics or Master's degree in economics.
- Recent professional experience as an economist related to the focus of the course in the public, para-public or private sector (must be demonstrated).
- Competence in French (language of instruction).

- An acceptable level of education and/or experience could be viewed as being equivalent to the educational required and/or demonstrated experience.
Responsibilities
- Teach ECO-2547 Section A00, Théorie macroéconomique II.
- Conduct an analytical examination of the main economic and social data available in Canada and elsewhere.
- Discuss data sources such as censuses, surveys, and administrative data.
- Explain the measurement and interpretation of economic indicators like poverty, GDP, and prices.
