About The Position
The Department of Economics within the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Ottawa is seeking a Regular Part-Time Professor to teach Macroeconomic Theory III (ECO3152, Section A00) during the Fall 2026 semester. This course will cover the foundations of macroeconomic theory, business cycle theories, monetary and fiscal policies in a closed economy, and neoclassical and other modern growth theories. Requirements
- Doctorate (PhD) degree in economics with specialization in the area of the course.
- Competence in English (language of instruction).

Responsibilities
- Teach Macroeconomic Theory III (ECO3152, Section A00) virtually.
- Deliver lectures on the foundations of macroeconomic theory, business cycle theories, monetary and fiscal policies in a closed economy, and neoclassical and other modern growth theories.
- Adhere to the course schedule: Mondays and Wednesdays from 17:30 to 19:00.
