About The Position

This position is for a Regular Part-Time Professor to teach CMN4132-B00: Crisis Communication during the Fall 2026 semester. The course focuses on the fundamental principles of crisis communication in organizations, analyzing real-world cases, and developing communication plans for crisis situations. The course is scheduled for Tuesdays from 19:00 to 22:00 and will be offered in person. The expected enrollment is 35 students, and the course is worth 3 credits.

Requirements

• Ph.D. or M.A. in Communication (preferably).
• Professional experience or expertise directly related to the course content.
• An acceptable level of education and/or experience could be viewed as being equivalent to the educational required and/or demonstrated experience.
• Employees are under provincial law required to successfully complete all mandatory legislated training.
• All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply; however, Canadians and permanent residents will be given priority.
