About The Position
The Department of Philosophy at the Faculty of Arts is seeking a Regular Part-Time Professor to teach PHI2396-B00, Bioethics, during the Fall 2026 semester. This course will study moral issues in medical research and health care, exploring topics such as human and animal experimentation, patient rights and duties, euthanasia, abortion, reproductive technologies, genetic screening, and resource allocation decisions. The teaching mode is in-person, with classes scheduled for Mondays from 19:00 to 21:50. The expected enrollment is 250 students, and the course is worth 3 credits.
Requirements
- Ph.D in Philosophy.
- Experience in teaching at university level in Philosophy.
- Competence in English (language of instruction).
