The University of Ottawa is seeking a Regular Part-Time Professor for the course PHI2394-B00, Scientific Thought and Social Values, during the Fall 2026 semester. This course explores the nature of scientific thought and its relationships with culture, religion, politics, technology, and society. The position is within the Department of Philosophy in the Faculty of Arts. The teaching mode is in-person, with classes scheduled on Mondays and Wednesdays from 17:30 to 18:50. The hourly rate for teaching is $239.47 (2024-2025), exclusive of vacation and statutory pay, and will be applied until a new collective agreement is ratified, with retroactivity upon ratification.
