About The Position

This position is for a Regular Part-Time Professor to teach PSY3777 B00, Processus cognitifs, during the Winter 2027 semester in the School of Psychology, Faculty of Social Sciences. The course is an introduction to contemporary cognitive psychology, covering the origin of cognitive and symbolic processes, historical foundations, knowledge acquisition, analysis of cognitive strategies, and current research in cognition. It includes laboratory activities and will be delivered in-person. Requirements

  • Ph.D. in Psychology with a thesis in Cognition.
  • Competence in French (language of instruction).
  • Successful completion of all mandatory legislated training.

Nice To Haves

  • An acceptable level of education and/or experience could be viewed as being equivalent to the educational required and/or demonstrated experience.
  • Passive competence in a second language.

Responsibilities

  • Teach Processus cognitifs (PSY3777 B00) during the Winter 2027 semester.
  • Maintain the originally assigned mode of course delivery (in-person).
  • Inform the School of Psychology Secretariat if a class needs to be cancelled.
  • Arrange for a suitable replacement instructor in case of an anticipated absence.
