About The Position
Présentation des approches, modèles et pratiques pluridisciplinaires développés pour intervenir auprès des personnes âgées et leur entourage en milieu institutionnel et communautaire. Études des enjeux tels que la pauvreté, les abus, la dépendance et des interventions pour y répondre.
Requirements
- Completed Doctorate in social sciences with a specialization in gerontology, or a completed Master's degree with 5 years of experience in the field of gerontology.
- Ability to teach in French.
- Successful completion of all mandatory legislated training.
Nice To Haves
- Teaching experience in gerontology is an asset.
Responsibilities
- Teach Intervention auprès des populations vieillissantes (GRT 2502 Section A00) during the 2027 Winter Semester.
- Develop and deliver multidisciplinary approaches, models, and practices for intervening with the elderly and their families in institutional and community settings.
- Address issues such as poverty, abuse, and dependency in the elderly population and develop interventions to respond to them.
