About The Position
This position is for a Student Part-Time Professor to teach PSY3505: Psychologie du développement : Adolescence during the Winter 2027 semester at the University of Ottawa's Faculty of Social Sciences, School of Psychology. The course covers the physical, emotional, social, moral, and intellectual development of adolescents, including problems in personal, social, and sexual maturity, and current research in the field. The course is proposed to be delivered in-person on Thursdays from 14:30 to 17:30.
Requirements
- Ph.D. in Psychology
- Advanced knowledge of the course content area
- Competence in French (language of instruction)
- Successful completion of all mandatory legislated training.

- An acceptable level of education and/or experience could be viewed as being equivalent to the educational required and/or demonstrated experience.
Responsibilities
- Teach the course content as described.
- Maintain the assigned mode of course delivery (in-person).
- Inform the School of Psychology Secretariat if a class needs to be cancelled.
- Arrange for a suitable replacement instructor if aware in advance of an upcoming absence.
