About The Position
The Faculty of Social Sciences, School of Psychology at the University of Ottawa is seeking a Regular Part-Time Professor to teach the course PSY2514: Developmental psychology from birth to old age. This course is proposed to be delivered in-person during the Winter 2027 semester. The academic year runs from September 1 to August 31. Requirements
- Ph.D. in Psychology
- Advanced knowledge of the course content area (Developmental psychology from birth to old age)
- Competence in French (language of instruction)
- Ability to maintain the original assigned mode of course delivery (in-person).
Nice To Haves
- Passive competence in a second language.
Responsibilities
- Teach the course 'Psychologie du développement de la naissance à la mort' (PSY2514 Section B00) in-person.
- Maintain the assigned mode of course delivery (in-person).
- Inform the School of Psychology Secretariat if a class needs to be cancelled.
- Arrange for a suitable replacement instructor if aware in advance of an upcoming absence.
- Successfully complete all mandatory legislated training as required by provincial law.
