About The Position

This position is for a Regular Part-Time Professor to teach PSY4791, a course titled 'Thèmes choisis en psychologie : Bases théoriques et cliniques de la prévention du suicide' (Selected Topics in Psychology: Theoretical and Clinical Bases of Suicide Prevention). The course involves an examination of a particular topic in psychology, with content and format varying depending on the professor. The course is proposed to be delivered in-person and is scheduled for Thursdays from 19:00 to 22:00 during the Fall 2026 semester. Requirements

  • Examination of a particular topic in psychology.
  • Content and format will vary depending on professor.
  • Must maintain the original assigned mode of course delivery (in-person or virtual) and may not be modified without prior approval from the Vice-Dean of Governance.
  • Must promptly inform the School of Psychology Secretariat if a class is cancelled.
  • Responsible for arranging a suitable replacement instructor if aware in advance of an upcoming absence.
  • An acceptable level of education and/or experience could be viewed as being equivalent to the educational required and/or demonstrated experience.
  • Must successfully complete all mandatory legislated training as required by provincial law.
