About The Position
The Department of Philosophy at the Faculty of Arts is seeking a Regular Part-Time Professor to teach PHI1102-D00: Moral Reasoning during the 2027 Winter Semester. This course focuses on developing fundamental skills in moral reasoning through the study of ethical issues and the criteria used in justifying or evaluating actions. The teaching mode is in-person, with classes scheduled on Tuesdays from 19:00 to 21:50. The expected enrollment is 142 students, and the course is worth 3 credits.
Requirements
- Ph.D in Philosophy.
- Experience in teaching at university level in Philosophy.
- Competence in English (language of instruction).

Responsibilities
- Teach Moral Reasoning (PHI1102-D00) during the 2027 Winter Semester.
- Develop and submit a syllabus subject to the approval of the Director of Undergraduate Studies, Department of Philosophy.
- Utilize the mandatory resource: “Instructor's Handbook".
- Conduct classes in person on Tuesdays from 19:00 to 21:50.
- Successfully complete all mandatory legislated training as required by provincial law.
