About The Position

This seminar will explore the history, professionalization, and representation of women and under-represented communities in public history institutions like galleries, libraries, archives, and museums, as well as exploring commemorative activities, historical societies, genealogy, and more contemporary public history activities like podcasting and gaming. This course will explore these topics through the lens of gender, race, sexuality and class.

Requirements

  • PhD in History
  • Be up-to-date in historical methodology, based on work experience, academic training, or publications.
  • Competence in second language: Passive

  • An acceptable level of education and/or experience could be viewed as being equivalent to the educational required and/or demonstrated experience.

  • Teach Seminar in History Across Borders: Galleries, Libraries, Archives, and Museums Across Borders (HIS4100-D00)
