About The Position
The Telfer School of Management at the University of Ottawa is seeking a Regular Part-Time Professor to teach ADM4317A - Leadership, Strategy and Sustainability during the Fall 2026 academic period. This course focuses on corporate social responsibility (CSR) and sustainability at multiple levels, exploring personal values, ethics, and their relation to CSR. It emphasizes action and leadership development, covering topics such as social entrepreneurship, B-Corps, regenerative business models, and the circular economy. The course is highly interactive, incorporating community service learning projects, simulations, case studies, and guest lecturers, requiring the applicant to be comfortable with a broad range of pedagogical approaches in support of sustainable business.
Requirements
- Master's degree or MBA (PhD preferred) in strategy and sustainability/corporate responsibility.
- Demonstrated recent professional experience in strategy and sustainability.
- Teaching experience, preferably in planning and implementing sustainable business solutions.
- Comfortable with a broad range of pedagogical approaches in support of sustainable business.
- Ability to teach in person.
