About The Position

This is a Regular Part-Time Professor position for the "Biochemistry of Nutrition" course (NUT2733 Section A) during the Fall 2026 semester at the Faculty of Health Sciences, School of Nutrition Sciences. The course focuses on the link between biochemical processes and nutrition, covering fundamental biochemical processes in cell function and metabolism, the structure of proteins, carbohydrates, lipids, vitamins, and minerals, basic nucleic acid structure and function (DNA and RNA), and introductory enzyme kinetics and intermediary metabolism. The mode of instruction is in-person on the Lees campus.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Nutrition Sciences, Food Sciences, or equivalent.
  • Experience in the subject matter of the course.
  • If the degree is in an equivalent field, the candidate must specify in their CV how their academic training relates to Nutrition or Food Sciences.

Nice To Haves

  • University teaching experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Teach the "Biochemistry of Nutrition" course (NUT2733 Section A).
