About The Position
This position is for a Regular Part-Time Professor to teach Personality (PSY3303 Section A00) during the Fall 2026 semester. The course covers major theories in personality, including main schools of thought, leading representatives, and current research. The course component is a lecture and is offered in person. The academic year runs from September 1 to August 31.
Requirements
- Ph.D. in Psychology.
- Advanced knowledge in Theory of Personality as demonstrated by peer-reviewed publications or specific training in the field of personality in the past five years.
- Competence in a second language (passive).
- Successfully complete all mandatory legislated training as required by provincial law.

- An acceptable level of education and/or experience could be viewed as being equivalent to the educational required and/or demonstrated experience.
Responsibilities
- Teach Personality (PSY3303 Section A00) during the Fall 2026 semester.
- Maintain the originally assigned mode of course delivery (in-person).
- Inform the School of Psychology Secretariat if a class needs to be canceled.
- Arrange for a suitable replacement instructor in case of an anticipated absence.
