About The Position

The Registrar-Float is assigned to clinics or departments according to the Registrar's competency level and completes appropriate competency and cross-training to work in designated units. The role includes a wide variety of activities, including registering patients for outpatient services, creating a positive first impression of the local entity, collecting insurance co-pays and deductibles at the point of service, and expediting the admitting procedure quickly and efficiently.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED is preferred.
Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred.
