About The Position

The Registrar-Float floats to clinics and departments based on competency level and completes appropriate competency and cross-training for designated units. The role registers patients for outpatient services, provides a positive first impression of the local entity, collects insurance copays and deductibles at the point of service, and expedites the admitting procedure quickly and efficiently.

Requirements

• Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred.
