About The Position

IndyVet Emergency and Specialty is seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician for its emergency and specialty hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. The position supports staff and patients in a lively ER/specialty setting, contributes to the hospital’s standard of patient care, and helps foster a culture of teamwork. The role also offers an opportunity to grow professionally and mentor other veterinary technicians.

IndyVet is an AAHA and Cat Friendly hospital that has served Indianapolis and surrounding communities for over 25 years. The team collaborates to provide care and comfort to pets and their families. The facility includes MRI, CT, a blood banking program, an in-house laboratory, digital radiology, Ezyvet, and VetRadar.

This is a full-time position with rotating 10- or 12-hour shifts. Some weekends and holidays are required, along with participation in an on-call rotation. Compensation is $23.00 to $25.00, depending on experience and credentials.

Requirements

• Registered Veterinary Technician.
• Completion of an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technology program.
• Previous veterinary technician experience.
• An established skillset.
• Professional and courteous communication, including during conflict.
