About The Position

Animal Clinic Northview is seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) for a full-time position in North Ridgeville, OH. This role involves a four 10-hour shift schedule with available options, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as part of a rotation. The starting pay is $25/hr, with potential for shift differentials for ER hours. The clinic is an equal opportunity employer.

Requirements

RVT, LVT, or CVT required
Strong technical skills and comfort in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

Induce and monitor anesthesia (following state regulations), and assist with surgical prep, monitoring and recovery
Do blood draws, IV catheters, radiographs and dental cleanings, and assist with ultrasounds
Triage appointments and help with emergency procedures
Care for hospitalized, ICU and isolation patients, including medications, treatments and physical therapy
Run lab work like hematology and urinalysis, and help with pharmacy and prescriptions
Explain discharge instructions to clients and keep medical records accurate
Keep surgical suites and treatment areas ready, and work with reception and clinical teams to keep the hospital running smoothly
