About The Position

The Registered Respiratory Therapist provides respiratory care and diagnostic procedures for cardiopulmonary patients of all ages and acuity levels, including Level 2 NICU patients. The role requires strong critical care and ventilator skills, as well as neonatal and pediatric care experience, specifically in a Level 2 NICU setting.

The schedule is three 12-hour day shifts, with rotating call and weekend work. Holiday coverage is required. This role seeks an experienced traveler; first-time travelers will not be considered.

Newly remodeled studio apartments near the facility may be available to travelers during their assignment. Apartments are furnished and include Wi-Fi, utilities, and on-site laundry. Availability is limited, and pets are not allowed.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience.
• Completion of an approved Respiratory Therapy Program as required for licensure.
• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential; CRT candidates will not be considered.
• Valid Colorado Registered Respiratory Therapist license.
• Certifications: NRP, ACLS, BLS/BCLS, and PALS.
• Excellent critical care and ventilator skills.
• Experience in neonatal and pediatric care, specifically in Level 2 NICU settings.
• Must be an experienced traveler; first-time travelers will not be considered.
• Flu vaccination is mandatory, with no declinations accepted from October 1 through April 1.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in critical care settings is preferred.
