About The Position

The Respiratory Therapist provides respiratory care and conducts diagnostic procedures for patients of all ages and varying levels of acuity. This position requires at least five years of Respiratory Therapy experience, including critical care and ventilator management, as well as experience with neonatal and pediatric patients, including Level 2 NICU. It is intended for experienced travelers; candidates taking their first travel assignment will not be considered.

The schedule consists of three 12-hour night shifts, with rotating call and weekend coverage. Newly remodeled, fully furnished studio apartments are available to rent during the assignment a short distance from the facility. Housing includes Wi-Fi, utilities, and on-site laundry; pets are not allowed, and no deposit is required.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of Respiratory Therapy experience.
• Previous critical care and ventilator management experience.
• Knowledge and experience with neonatal and pediatric patients, including Level 2 NICU.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification from NBRC; candidates with only CRT are not considered.
• Completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program as required for licensing.
• Valid Colorado Registered Respiratory Therapist license.
• Current AHA certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP.
• Flu vaccination is mandatory and cannot be declined from October 1 through April 1.
• Candidates must have prior travel assignment experience; first-time travelers will not be considered.
