About The Position

Baptist Downtown is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse for its Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) team in Jacksonville, Florida. The nurse assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care; supervises care provided by supportive personnel; coordinates care with ancillary services; involves patients and their significant others or families in individualized care planning; and prepares assigned rooms and cases while assessing and anticipating patient care needs.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of surgical services nursing experience.
• 2–3 years of critical care nursing experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Licensed Registered Nurse.
• Associate of Science in Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Supervise care provided by supportive personnel.
• Coordinate care provided by ancillary services.
• Include patients and their significant others or families in developing an individualized plan of care.
• Coordinate and prepare assigned rooms and cases.
• Assess patient care needs and anticipate the needs of the case.
