About The Position
Baptist Health is hiring a part-time Registered Nurse for the Day Stay Team at Baptist Downtown in Jacksonville, Florida. The Day Stay Unit is a fast-paced peri-operative unit specializing in pre-operative care and Phase 2 recovery. The unit may handle 50–60 cases per day.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of surgical services nursing experience.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Licensed Registered Nurse.
- Associate of Science in Nursing.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Supervise care provided by supportive personnel and coordinate care provided by ancillary services.
- Include patients and their significant others or families in developing individualized plans of care.
- Coordinate and prepare assigned rooms and cases.
- Assess patient care needs and anticipate the needs of each case.
