About The Position
Baptist Health is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Surgical Progressive Care Team at Baptist Downtown in Jacksonville, Florida. This is a full-time day-shift opportunity. The nurse provides care to patients requiring treatment for medical, surgical, and other conditions, including chronic medical conditions and minor injuries or illnesses. The role includes educating patients and families about disease processes and plans of care, collaborating with physicians and hospital departments, advocating for patients, and participating in staff meetings and other unit activities. The position requires one year of clinical nursing experience, Basic Life Support (BLS), an active Registered Nurse license, and an Associate of Science in Nursing. A $2,500 sign-on bonus is offered.

Responsibilities
