About The Position

FirstChoice is Trinity Health’s mobile staffing solution. Registered Nurses fill short- and long-term assignments throughout the health system, including local, regional, and nationwide opportunities. This position is based at Trinity Health Ann Arbor and is a 13-week assignment. The schedule is three 12-hour night shifts per week. The gross hourly rate is $66. The nurse must be qualified and willing to float throughout the hospital and/or across multiple hospital locations or regions. The role requires professional nursing practice, independent and appropriate action within the nurse’s license, scope of knowledge, and experience, and accountability for delegation, decisions, and outcomes. Nurses collaborate with stakeholders, contribute to quality improvement, adapt to new responsibilities and ideas, and manage competing priorities while embracing cultural differences.

Requirements

Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
Valid RN licensure authorized in the applicable state(s) of practice or employment.
At least two years of recent clinical experience for specialties including Critical Care, Surgical Services, Maternal Services, Emergency Department, and Behavioral Health.
Maintain the credentials required for the specialty area, such as ACLS or TNCC.
BLS, ACLS, and PALS must be obtained through the American Heart Association.
