About The Position

FirstChoice is Trinity Health’s mobile staffing solution. Registered Nurses fill short- and long-term assignments throughout the health system, with local, regional, and nationwide opportunities. Nurses may work across hospital units, multiple hospital locations, or regions and are expected to float as needed. This assignment is at Trinity Health Oakland, starts ASAP, lasts 13 weeks, and is scheduled for three 12-hour night shifts per week. The gross hourly rate is $73.

Requirements

Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
Valid RN licensure authorized in the applicable state(s) of practice or employment.
At least two years of recent clinical experience for Emergency Department and other listed remaining specialties, including Critical Care, Surgical Services, Maternal Services, and Behavioral Health.
Maintain credentials required for the specialty area, such as ACLS or TNCC.
BLS, ACLS, and PALS must be obtained through the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

Float throughout the hospital, multiple hospital locations, and/or regions as qualified and willing.
Apply the standard elements of professional nursing practice: assess, identify outcomes and solutions, plan, implement, and evaluate.
Act independently and appropriately within the scope of licensure, knowledge, experience, and practice area.
Remain accountable for delegation, choices, decisions, and outcomes.
Collaborate with key stakeholders and contribute to quality improvement practices and outcomes.
Adapt to new and additional responsibilities, embrace new ideas and cultural differences, and manage competing priorities.
