About The Position

FirstChoice is Trinity Health’s mobile staffing solution. Registered Nurses fill short- and long-term assignments throughout the health system, with regional and nationwide opportunities. This part-time role is based at Trinity Health Oakland and involves a 13-week assignment. The nurse must be willing to float throughout the hospital and/or multiple hospital locations or regions. The schedule is three 12-hour shifts on nights, at a gross hourly rate of $73. The start date is ASAP. The Registered Nurse applies the standard elements of professional nursing practice, works independently within the scope of licensure and experience, and remains accountable for delegation, decisions, and outcomes. The role collaborates with stakeholders, contributes to quality improvement, and adapts to new responsibilities, ideas, cultural differences, and competing priorities.

Requirements

Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
Hold valid RN licensure authorized in the applicable state(s) of practice or employment.
Have at least two years of recent clinical experience for Emergency Department and other listed specialties outside Med Surg, Tele, and PCU.
Maintain credentials required for the specialty area, such as ACLS or TNCC.
Obtain BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications through the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

Practice independently and appropriately within licensure, knowledge, and experience.
