About The Position

FirstChoice is Trinity Health’s mobile staffing solution. Travel Registered Nurses fill short- and long-term assignments throughout the health system, including critical positions needed when unforeseen circumstances arise or a position is open because of an extended leave of absence. RNs may work in a variety of practice settings and travel within their local region or nationally. This posting is for a PACU nurse at Trinity Health Livingston, with a 13-week assignment starting ASAP and a day shift schedule of four 10-hour shifts. The listed gross weekly rate is $2,720 for nurses coming to Michigan from out of state who live more than 60 miles from the hospital; nurses cannot work in the same metropolitan area for more than 12 months to receive this rate.

Requirements

Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
Hold valid RN licensure authorized in the applicable state(s) of practice or employment.
Have at least two years of recent clinical experience for specialties other than Med Surg, Tele, and PCU; PACU is included among the remaining specialties.
Obtain and maintain credentials required for the specialty area.
Obtain BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications through the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

Float throughout the hospital and/or multiple hospital locations or regions.
Apply the standard elements of professional practice: assessment, outcomes identification and solutions, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Practice independently and appropriately within the limits of licensure, knowledge, experience, and practice area.
Remain accountable for delegation, choices, decisions, and outcomes.
Collaborate with key stakeholders and contribute to quality and improvement practices and outcomes.
Adapt to new and additional responsibilities, embrace new ideas and cultural differences, and manage competing priorities.
