Registered Nurse - LDRP
About The Position
As an RN-Registered Nurse in Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP), you will coordinate and deliver compassionate, quality patient care. You will use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team, and help ensure patient goals are met. The role includes identifying and implementing solutions when variances from patient goals arise. The position is based at Henry Ford Health’s Rochester campus in northern Oakland County, Michigan. The campus is in a historic community with a vibrant downtown and access to Metro Detroit and nearby Auburn Hills. Henry Ford Health is an academic medical center with hospitals and ambulatory care locations across Michigan.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
- Current health care provider certification (BLS).
- Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities to formulate effective nursing care plans.
- Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
- Effective communication skills with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Experience in Labor & Delivery/Postpartum Care.
Responsibilities
