About The Position

The Registered Nurse-LDRP works in a critical access hospital in the Labor & Delivery, LDRP, and Nursery setting. This is a 13-week contract with a night shift from 6:45 PM to 7:00 AM and 48 guaranteed hours per week. The facility may cancel up to three scheduled 12-hour shifts during the contract. No holiday coverage is required.

The nurse must be experienced in labor, delivery, postpartum, newborn care, triage, NSTs, and serving as the second nurse during deliveries. Depending on staffing needs, the nurse may float to Med-Surg, CCU, or the Emergency Department to assist. The facility uses Epic EMR. Weekly gross pay is listed as $2,400 to $2,687, with a blended hourly rate of $70 to $75, weekly taxable pay of $1,487, and a weekly stipend of $1,246.

Requirements

• Active Montana Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, including recent Labor & Delivery / LDRP experience.
• Current NRP certification.
• Current STABLE certification.
• Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification or training.
• Experience with labor, delivery, postpartum, newborn care, triage, NSTs, and serving as the second nurse during deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn patients.
• Provide triage and NST care.
• Serve as the second nurse during deliveries.
• Float to Med-Surg, CCU, or the Emergency Department to assist based on staffing needs.
