About The Position

The Registered Nurse delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with departmental requirements and applicable state and specialty standards of practice. Working with medical providers and the care team, the nurse provides personalized, comprehensive, and compassionate care using established nursing models such as “Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage.” The nurse advocates for patients, families, and caregivers and supports a positive patient experience and clinical outcomes.

Requirements

Registered Nurse (RN) qualification.
Basic Cardiac Life Support.
An associate degree or bachelor's degree must be obtained within two years of the employment start date.
One year of RN experience in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

Assess patients upon admission and during each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting changes in condition.
Perform procedures, monitoring, and other functions as ordered by medical providers, and document care promptly and thoroughly in the patient's medical record.
Administer prescribed medications, monitor therapeutic responses, and take appropriate action in response to unintended medication effects.
Respond promptly to patient requests, anticipate patient needs, and address them.
Educate patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, possible side effects, and follow-up measures, translating complex medical terminology to support understanding.
