About The Position

Lourdes Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide medical-surgical care on a collaborative 25-bed team. The typical nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:5. The role involves caring for a diverse patient population alongside experienced colleagues in a team-focused environment that values communication, patient-centered care, schedule flexibility, professional growth, and work-life balance. This is a PRN position with varied 12-hour shifts and rotating weekends and holidays under a union contract.

Lourdes Health is part of Lifepoint Health, a healthcare network with acute care, rehabilitation, and behavioral health facilities. The role is based at Lourdes Medical Center, a 35-bed hospital in Pasco, Washington.

Requirements

• Current Washington state RN license or compact state license; relocating employees must update licensure to their new Primary State of Residence before beginning employment.
• Associate degree from an accredited nursing school.
• BCLS certification.
• At least 1 year of acute care RN experience.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• PALS certification preferred.
• Handle with Care certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate nursing care to medical and surgical patients.
• Assess and monitor patients and respond to changes in their condition.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care.
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans and discharge needs.
• Maintain accurate documentation and support quality and safety initiatives.
• Provide patient-centered care in a collaborative, team-focused environment.
