About The Position

Lourdes Health is hiring a PRN Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse to provide care to medical and surgical patients. The nurse joins a collaborative 25-bed Medical/Surgical team with a typical nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5. The position has varied 12-hour shifts, including rotating weekends and holidays per union contract. The listed wage range is $42.14–$78.11 per hour, with shift differentials of $2.25–$4.50 per hour depending on shift. Requirements

• Current Washington state RN license or compact state license. If relocating, licensure must be updated to the new Primary State of Residence before beginning employment.
• Associate degree from an accredited nursing school.
• BCLS certification required.
• At least 1 year of acute care RN experience.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
• ACLS, PALS, and Handle with Care certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate nursing care to medical and surgical patients.
• Assess and monitor patients and respond to changes in their condition.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care.
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans and discharge needs.
• Maintain accurate documentation and support quality and safety initiatives.
• Provide patient-centered care in a collaborative, team-focused environment.
