Registered Nurse (RN) - FT Nights| Clear Lake North Rehab
About The Position
The Registered Nurse (RN) delivers, directs, and supervises care for patients admitted to the nursing unit, using the nursing process under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer/Director of Nursing, Nurse Manager, or Charge Nurse. The RN plans, coordinates, and provides patient care, including interdisciplinary and discharge planning, patient and family education for post-hospitalization, and access to community resources. The RN may perform other related duties as assigned or requested, including serving as Charge Nurse; ACLS certification is required for that duty. This is a full-time night-shift opportunity at Clear Lake North Rehab. Requirements
- Current RN license in the state of application.
- Current BLS certification.
- Current ACLS certification is preferred initially and required after 90 days of employment; ACLS is required from day one for Charge Nurses, High Observation, and ICU.
- One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience is preferred but not required.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in emergency or critical care environments.
- Comfort working with vents, trachs, PICC lines, and similar equipment.
- Two years of experience in direct patient care.
- Current ACLS certification at the time of hire, except for Charge Nurses, High Observation, and ICU roles where it is required from day one.
Responsibilities
- Use the nursing process to deliver, direct, and supervise care for patients admitted to the nursing unit.

- Teach patients and families about post-hospitalization care.
- Access community resources for patients.
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested, including Charge Nurse duties when qualified.
