About The Position

PAM Health is hiring a Registered Nurse to provide and coordinate care for patients admitted to a nursing unit. Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer/Director of Nursing, Nurse Manager, or Charge Nurse, the RN uses the nursing process to deliver, direct, and supervise patient care. The role includes interdisciplinary and discharge planning, patient and family education for post-hospitalization, and connecting patients with community resources. Other related duties may be assigned or requested; Charge Nurse duties require ACLS certification.

Requirements

• Current RN license in the state where applying.
• Current BLS certification.
• ACLS certification is required after 90 days of employment; it is required from day one for Charge Nurses, High Observation, and ICU roles.
• One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience is preferred but not required.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in emergency or critical care environments.
• Comfort working with ventilators, tracheostomies, PICC lines, and similar equipment.
• Two years of experience in direct patient care.
• Current ACLS certification initially.

Responsibilities
