About The Position

The Registered Nurse promotes and provides safe, competent nursing care in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. The RN demonstrates professional leadership and supports the healthcare team while providing patient-centered nursing care. Responsibilities include communicating with physicians and nursing staff about patient needs, administering IVs and medications, and using medical equipment to monitor patient vital signs.

This is a per diem day position in the CVICU at Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, Florida. The hospital is a 295-bed facility serving Manatee, Sarasota, and surrounding counties. Candidates must have at least two years of ICU experience; CVICU experience is preferred.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN licensure in Florida.
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
• Current ACLS certification through the American Heart Association.
• Current NIH Stroke Certification.
• At least 2 years of ICU experience.
