About The Position
Select Specialty Hospital - Victorian Village is a critical illness recovery hospital providing inpatient post-ICU care to chronically and critically ill patients who need extended healing and recovery. Registered Nurses provide compassionate, high-quality treatment to patients throughout their care. The hospital offers an extensive orientation program, flexible per diem scheduling, and the possibility of future full-time opportunities. The minimum per diem requirement is four shifts in a six-week period. Shifts are 12 hours during the day.
Requirements
- Valid state Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- BLS certification required at hire.
- ACLS certification required at hire.

- Clinical experience.
Responsibilities
- Receive admissions and/or transfers to the unit.
- Conduct initial and ongoing systematic patient assessments.
- Complete timely and accurate documentation using appropriate systems.
- Interpret assessment and diagnostic data, including laboratory results and telemetry.
- Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately.
- Demonstrate competence during Rapid Response and code events.
- Instruct and counsel patients and families.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
