About The Position
Registered Nurse at Select Specialty Hospital - Victorian Village, a critical illness recovery hospital in Columbus, Ohio, providing inpatient post-ICU care to chronically and critically ill patients who need extended healing and recovery. The nurse provides compassionate care throughout patients’ treatment and recovery. This per diem role involves 12-hour day shifts and requires a minimum of four shifts during each six-week period. Compensation is $50.00 per hour, with a $5,000 sign-on bonus. The employer offers a thorough RN orientation program and notes that strong performance may lead to potential full-time opportunities.
Requirements
- Valid state RN license.
- BLS certification required at hire.
- ACLS certification required at hire.

Responsibilities
- Receive admissions and/or transfers to the unit.
- Perform initial and ongoing systematic patient assessments.
- Complete timely and accurate documentation using appropriate systems.
- Interpret assessment and diagnostic data, including laboratory results and telemetry.
- Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately.
- Demonstrate competence in rapid response and code events.
- Instruct and counsel patients and families.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
