About The Position
Join UT Health Henderson as a full-time, night-shift Labor Delivery Recovery and Postpartum (LDRP) Registered Nurse in Henderson, Texas. The RN is a professional caregiver who uses the nursing process to provide and direct patient care for a group of patients during a designated time frame. UT Health Henderson has 41 operational beds, a 24-hour emergency department designated as a Level IV trauma center and acute stroke-ready facility, surgical suites, advanced diagnostic technology, a maternity unit, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, a wound healing center, and an AASM-accredited sleep center. Requirements
- Associate Degree of Nursing (ADN).
- Maintain a current Texas RN License.
- Obtain BLS certification within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and before providing direct patient care.
Nice To Haves
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification; may be obtained within 90 days of hire.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification; may be obtained within 90 days of hire.
- Fetal Monitoring Certification; may be obtained within 90 days of hire.
- S.T.A.B.L.E. certification; may be obtained within 90 days of hire.
