About The Position
The Registered Nurse Float assists physicians with the care and teaching of patients. The role requires a registered nurse licensed in the state of residence, experience in IV therapy, and a valid driver's license for travel to clinics. Experience with hematology/oncology patients in a clinic or hospital is preferred. Current CPR certification is required, and BLS must be held upon hire or obtained within 30 days of employment; FCS will provide a BLS course during that period.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse licensed in the state of residence.
- Experience in IV therapy.
- Ability to assess patient needs and condition.
- Strong critical-thinking skills and the ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
- Current CPR certification.
- BLS certification upon hire or obtained within 30 days of employment.
- Fluency in English with excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Valid driver's license for travel to clinics.
