Registered Nurse FLOAT RN
About The Position
DaVita is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its outpatient dialysis team in West Palm Beach, Florida. The nurse will provide life-saving care to patients with end-stage renal disease or chronic kidney conditions. Dialysis experience is not required; paid training is provided. The role involves floating to nearby clinics as needed, and a flexible schedule is required. Training may take place at a clinic other than the nurse’s home location. The position offers a fast-paced, hands-on environment, opportunities to build long-term relationships with patients, and broad application of nursing skills with medically complex patients. Compensation depends on qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience.
Requirements
- RN license in the state of practice.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Reliable transportation for potential floating.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Experience in ICU, CCU, ER, or Med Surg.
- CNN or CDN certification.
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in an outpatient dialysis setting.
- Monitor patients, manage treatment plans, and respond to changes in their health.
- Collaborate with a clinical team, including Patient Care Technicians.
- Educate patients and families about kidney health and treatment options.
- Float to nearby clinics as needed.
