About The Position

Park Terrace Village is hiring a Registered Nurse for a weekend-option day-shift role with an additional $8 per hour. The nurse builds meaningful relationships with residents and staff, uses nursing skills to promote residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being, and provides thoughtful, personal care in a supportive setting. The role emphasizes getting to know residents’ life stories, routines, and preferences, while helping maintain a comforting atmosphere and coordinated care.

Requirements

• Current and valid Registered Nurse license in the state of Indiana.
• Proficient medication management skills.
• Ability to conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident conditions.
• Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.

• Supportive presence, leadership, collaboration, teamwork, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Promote the physical and psychosocial well-being of residents through nursing care.
• Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
• Promote teamwork within the care team to meet residents’ needs.
• Collaborate with nursing and other facility teams to provide coordinated, comprehensive resident care.
• Conduct resident assessments and accurately document changes in condition.
• Manage medications.
